Terry and Chavonna Houston met by the leading of Holy Spirit in July 2007, and five months later they were married. The Houstons’ marriage has been a Holy Spirit led adventure to say the least.
Terry was called to ministry at the age of sixteen. Shortly after being called off his job in 2009, the Houstons began their church Different World Christian Cathedral & Complex, which became known as Different World Ministries. They served as pastors for five years until it came to Chavonna's heart when listening to Kenneth E. Hagin’s teaching, “Plans, Purposes & Pursuits”, to pose a question to Terry – “How do you know you are called to pastor?” Terry prayed about this question and God supernaturally revealed to him that he was not called to a pastoral ministry, but rather to an apostolic ministry of preparing the body of Christ for the return of Jesus, which confirmed what God had spoken to Chavonna.

Following this, in obedience to the Spirit of God's leading, the Houstons left the comfort of the city they were born, raised and married in and began to travel and minister in various places, to fulfill the call of God on their lives: Preparing the Body of Christ for the return of Jesus...teaching them to discern His voice, follow His Spirit and live in His glory.

Over the past fourteen years, Terry and Chavonna have met, prayed with and ministered to hundreds of people. Everywhere they go, the Holy Spirit leads them to individuals who are open to and desiring more of Jesus Christ. They've had the privilege to come in contact with people of various ages, ethnicities, religions, backgrounds, income levels, etc., and no matter the person, the Spirit of God consistently leads them to minister as Jesus did: praying, saying, and doing whatever the Holy Spirit reveals, which ministers directly to the person's heart (John 5:19-20, 30).

As a result, they have seen individuals' material needs supernaturally supplied; individuals facing severe legal issues being shown God's favor by having their cases dismissed; individuals in physical pain healed instantly; individuals facing death supernaturally restored to health; individuals being delivered from drugs and other demonic oppression; and the list goes on (Acts 10:38).

However, the most wonderful thing the Houstons have seen in their years of ministry together is Holy Spirit using them to disciple God's people into a more genuine relationship with their Abba, Father. They believe there is nothing more rewarding, more fulfilling and more significant than individuals experiencing God's Glory, while maturing as a son of God and maintaining habitual fellowship with their Heavenly Father. In light of this, the Houstons faithfully submit to Holy Spirit with teaching and training individuals on the significance of being steadfastly led by the Spirit of God to go from glory to glory in their lives (Romans 8:14; 2 Corinthians 3:18).

In summary, The Houstons have simply taken heed to Jesus' commission after His resurrection in Matthew 28:19-20, "Go ye therefore, and teach [make disciples of] all nations...lo, I am with you unto the end of the world. Amen." Terry and Chavonna have chosen to dedicate their lives to obeying this command, believing that this is the ultimate mission God has equipped them for in this end time. Their desire is that their mission from God, of making, training and empowering disciples to discern His voice, follow His Spirit and live in His Glory be fulfilled at the glorious appearing of their beloved Messiah, Jesus.

“Simply put, I go where the Holy Spirit tells me to go, and do what Holy Spirit tells me to do; in this, I believe God the Father and Jesus Christ get all the credit for everything done in my life and in this ministry.”
